I can't Thank Pat and Vicky enough for the terrific time I had on MRT's "Springtime Tour in Gold Country" in May, 2011.
Endless mile after mile of beautiful back roads touring through woods and forests, past meadows and fields, along rivers and lakes, past orchards and vineyards, up and down peaks and valleys with stops at various Gold Rush Towns and other points of interest along the way. Who knew there was a center of California, much less how to find it?
Pat and Vicky, you really know the most scenic back roads with the least traffic. Your routes had just the right combination of twists and turns, ups and downs to keep me focused and living in the moment. And I could not have asked for better traveling companions.
Our times together at meals and our after dinner strolls through Historic California were as enjoyable as the rides.
Your research resulted in very good food and very comfortable accommodations. The innkeeper in Nevada City even had us park our bikes in his garage. To say your tours offer a great value is an understatement!
My time on your tour exceeded all my expectations of what a motorcycle tour should and could be. I will definitely be back for another tour. It was a wonderful experience and I feel I have made two good friends. I can't wait to get back in the saddle with Motorcycle Road Tours. Until then, be well and safe!

My wife and I had the pleasure of taking Motorcycle Road Tours - "Sierra to Sea Tour" in June. It was a wonderful experience!
As experienced riders in South Africa, riding a Harley in the USA and especially in California was always a dream for us and we decided to forgo the stress of doing a tour on our own, with all the hassles of accommodation bookings, route planning, etc., and we decided on a tour operator.
Pat and Vicky provided us with a hassle-free, safe and wonderful trip through California. They know the state intimately and took us to all the little known sites within California.
We rode all day for 7-8 hours but never did more than 300 miles in a day, which gave us plenty of time for sightseeing. Their attention to safety was excellent. Their choice of accommodations was very good and we really enjoyed the historic inn located in the Gold Country area - quaint and very old fashioned!
We received incredible personal attention from Pat and Vicky, with Vicky managing to get photos from every imaginable position on the road and at all the places we visited.
Everything from the Central Valley, to Yosemite National Park to the California Coast including Monterey and Big Sur. We had the ultimate riding experience! The tour gave us alot of great riding which included something of everything - long sweeping curves, tight exhilarating twists and turns, wonderful coastal roads and even some highway riding where we could open up the throttle.
We highly recommend Motorcycle Road Tours as a professional tour operator.
